Salvado on-line is a software application designed to optimize and manage Insurance Company Risk Recovery organization. It was fully developed on Workflow tool, which is designed to manage every information flow stage from vehicle finding to its sale directly to the final customer or though auction.
This system can be accessed by LAN or remotely through the Internet, so than the risk recovery organization can assign a flow stage to an environment out of Insurance Company, like a buyer, an auctioneer, a forwarder, and this person, through the Internet, completes the flow stage he/she is in charge as there is a PC connected to the Salvado on-line system server inside Insurance Company.
Salvado on-line also enables scanning of asset, documents and expenses images related to each process. This provides evaluation organization with vehicle images to conclude its stage within this flow.
Basic functionality
Salvado on-line is module based. System users access these modules using specific password that assign them preset rights.

Tables
Tables module refers to all information required to salvage process to be registered in the system. The following are sub-items: Addresses, Insured assets, Documents, Salvage types, Causes, Evaluation sources, Expenses, Branch offices, Insurers/Third-parties, Buyers, Auctioneers, Forwarders, Appraisers, Bidders, etc.
Integrations
Input/output module enables Salvado on-line integration to Insurance Company claim system in a way that when total loss or theft claim takes place, it can be automatically registered in the salvage system to avoid frauds and process loss. The same way, salvage system automatically updates Insurance Company claim and/or accounting systems when a salvage is sold.
Salvage
Salvados module enables manual register of a salvage process in the software if any problem occurs when automatically updating the system (as seen in Integrations). Also, it allows inventory vehicle register or found vehicle after theft. This routine can be integrated to the Insurance Company policy system in a way when a vehicle is found it queries if such vehicle insurance belongs to the Insurance Company. Everything on-line.
General Queries
Consultas Gerais module enables queries of any salvage process registered in the system by code, license plate, chassi number, policy number, claim number, Insurer/Third-party name, or process status.
Reports
Reports module enables user to print every system tables. We named these logistic reports, as well as analytical/management reports like: inventory management, auction management, buyer/auctioneer income, profitability analysis, expenses analysis, sold salvage, invoicing, letter submission to Detran, removal consent issue, accounting reports, etc.
WorkFlow
Workflow module enables each user to see messages depicting his/her to-do list. These messages can be handled in three different ways: Closed, Open, and Finished.
Closed message implies that user has received a new message but does not open it to check its content; Open message implies that user has already opened the message but does not concluded the workflow step assigned to him/her; Finished message implies that user has already concluded the workflow step assigned to him/her and has submitted a message to the user assigned to the next step. When message status is different from Finished, system indicates the message status as stopped with user in charge for that step.
This module manages all statuses of salvage process, for example: Settlement pending, Waiting to be found, Settled, Found, Under documentation, Under assessment, Under auction, Sold, etc.
Every WorkFlow process can be changed to fit the information flow of an Insurance Company. It is easy suited to the daily efforts of Insurance Company, its users, and process stages statuses.
